Q How do I find out if I want to start therapy?
A Email
to find out if you and Catie, as a team, can change a bad situation
to a good one. As an experienced psychotherapist, Catie can help
you determine if this is the right step for you.
Q. How are the online sessions conducted? By telephone, by
email?
A. Therapy sessions are available only by telephone.
Q. I need to cancel/reschedule an upcoming telephone appointment
with Catie. What is the procedure and will I be charged?
A. Notify Catie either by telephone or email at least 24
hours before a scheduled telephone appointment and you will
not be
charged. You may either request a reschedule or cancel your
session. If your notification is less than 24 hours of your
scheduled
session, you will forfeit your payment.
Q Do I need to submit the Questionnaire and Informed Consent
document?
A Yes. It is important for Catie to know a little about
you. Equally, it is important for you to have information
about
your treatment and to give your consent. We cannot start
a session
prior to receiving your consent form.
Q How do I send the Questionnaire and Informed Consent
document?
A Fill out the form and submit it. We will receive it
and acknowledge receipt. Be sure to print out a copy
for your
records.
Q How much will my therapy cost?
A New patients may receive a 15-minute telephone session free of charge. If
you wish to
continue
therapy by telephone the fees start at $28.00 for
Catie’s time.
Q How will I pay for the therapy?
A We use PayPal where you may use Visa, Mastercard, Discover,
or American Express. Once you make a payment we will be notified.
Payment is expected prior to the session starting or responding
to your emails.
Q What if I paid too much and don't need further sessions?
A We will credit your PayPal account for the unused amount.
Q Do you accept checks?
A We do not accept checks at this time.
Q Will you accept and invoice insurance plans for their payment
to you?
A No, but we will provide you a receipt for your submission
for repayment.
Q Are you licensed
A Yes, we are licensed in the state of California (#
